Greg Oliver

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director

Greg was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Fitness & Lifestyle Group at its inception in October 2016. Prior to this Greg was CEO of Goodlife Health Clubs from 2010.

With a career in the fitness industry spanning 40 years, Greg is regarded as one of the world's most respected fitness executives.

Greg's experience includes owning and managing multi-club gym chains and significant M&A and strategic activity within the sector including Club expansion and acquisition. In addition, Greg has owned and managed corporate health businesses, and founded Debit Success, one of the countries largest membership billing and software services.

Greg has previously served as a director of Fitness Australia, Fitness Victoria and Belgravia Health & Leisure Group.

Adam Leake

Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary

Adam was appointed CFO and Company Secretary of Fitness & Lifestyle Group since inception after previously being CFO of Goodlife Health Clubs since 2012.

Prior to joining Goodlife, Adam held a range of senior finance roles in Australia and internationally including CFO and Head of Finance for Suncorp Bank and senior executive roles at Flight Centre, Ernst & Young (London) and Banco Santander.

Andrew Pears

Chief Operating Officer

Andrew joined Fitness & Lifestyle Group as Head of Corporate Development in April 2017 and transitioned to Chief Operating Officer in September 2018.

Prior to joining Fitness & Lifestyle Group, Andrew worked in a range of corporate advisory and direct investment roles with Macquarie Capital, Capella Capital (Lend Lease) and Citi. Andrew was most recently a Director within Citi's Investment Banking Division where he advised corporate and private equity clients on company strategy, mergers & acquisitions and capital raisings.

Adam Skinner

Chief Data & Technology Officer
Adv. Dip Mgmt, Grad. Dip Tech, PMI-ACP

Adam was appointed CIO of Fitness & Lifestyle Group at its inception in October 2016 after previously holding senior digital and technology management roles with Ardent Leisure and Goodlife since 2013. Adam transitioned to Chief Data & Technology Officer in September 2018.

Prior to joining Goodlife, Adam held a range of senior technology management roles in Australia including Ardent Leisure Group, Rockpool Dining Group (formerly known as Urban Purveyor Group), H&L Australia, and ALH Group.

Adam is a member of the CIO Executive Council

Anthony (Tony) Dempsey

General Counsel

Tony was appointed Group General Counsel for the Fitness & Lifestyle Group at its inception in October 2016 after previously being General Counsel and Company Secretary of Fitness First Australia since 2013.

Prior to joining Fitness First Tony worked in private legal practice including with national law firm Clayton Utz before becoming the founding President and CEO of The Rugby Union Players’ Association. In the year 2000 Tony was awarded the Australian Sports Medal for his services to Rugby by the Governor General and Prime Minister of Australia.

Simone Field

Head of Safety

Simone was appointed Head of Safety for the Fitness & Lifestyle Group at its inception in October 2016.

Simone has more than 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. Prior to her current position, she held the role of Head of Safety for Goodlife Health Clubs, since the first club opened in 2002 through to 2016. Simone’s previous experience consisted of 10+ years in hospitality management and nursing in the health sector.

Jess MacIntosh

Head of People & Culture

Jess was appointed the Head of People & Culture for Fitness & Lifestyle Group in July 2017, having previously held the role of Head of People & Culture for Goodlife Health Clubs.

Jess has more than 11 years HR experience and 8 years in other executive management roles, having previously worked as the National HR Manager for Vita Group Limited. Jess’s move to the fitness industry 3 years ago allowed her the opportunity to combine her passion for health and fitness with her skills and experience in business acquisitions, people development, cultural integration and the implementation of effective people strategies.

David Aitchison

Fitness First Australia

David Aitchison was appointed General Manager of Fitness First Australia in May 2017.

David has more than 23 years experience in the Fitness industry, with over 18 years in Senior and Executive Management positions, having previously been engaged by Fitness & Lifestyle Group with Goodlife as National Business Development Manager, responsible for the Operation of 50 clubs within Australia. David also co-founded Fenix Fitness clubs which operated 10 clubs in both Victoria and Queensland.

Niki Dean

Goodlife Health Clubs
BSc, Sport and Business

Niki was appointed CEO of Goodlife in July 2017.

Niki has more than 20 years experience in the Fitness Industry. Prior to joining Goodlife, Niki founded and operated the innovative and award winning Go Health Clubs chain in Australia. In 2015 Niki created Yogabox and the fast growing Arena Fitness brands to compete in the emerging Boutique Fitness Market.

Elaine Jobson

Jetts Fitness Australia

Elaine was appointed CEO of Jetts Fitness Australia in November 2016.

Prior to joining Jetts Fitness 6 years ago as COO and General Manager, Elaine has more than 25 years in the fitness industry, and 15 years in other executive management roles, having previously worked in Europe, Asia and South Africa for Global brands such as Fitness First and Virgin Active.

George Reed was appointed General Manager of Jetts Fitness New Zealand in March 2019.

George has 13 years experience in the health and fitness industry having worked in leadership roles within Fitness First Australia and Goodlife Health Clubs.

Mike Lamb

Jetts Fitness Asia
B.Sc (Hons) DPS.

Mike has appointed Managing Director of Jetts Fitness Asia in January 2017.

Prior to joining Jetts Fitness, Mike had spent more than 25 years in the Asian fitness industry, including as Group Managing Director for Fitness First Asia and Chairman of Virgin Active Asia-Pacific.

Megan Smith

Zap Fitness

Meg was appointed General Manager of Zap Fitness in December 2017.

Meg has over 20 years' experience in the Fitness Industry, including over 10 years dedicated to co-founding and Zap Fitness, which she helped grow to 37 gyms in Tas/Vic/SA. Prior to co-founding Zap Fitness, Meg worked in senior roles with iconic brands such as Fitness First, AFL (180), The Fitness Generation, Lifestyle, Fernwood and Colts.

Pete Manuel

Barry’s Bootcamp Asia-Pacific
BA (Hons)

Pete was appointed General Manager, Barry’s Bootcamp in October 2017.

Pete has more than 7 years in the fitness industry, and 25 years in Fast Moving Goods (FMCG). After completing a graduate sales and marketing program at Yoplait in the UK, Pete progressed at Procter and Gamble (in roles or increasing responsibility) in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia working for Duracell, Gillette and then across the full P&G portfolio in General Management roles. Prior to heading up Barry’s Asia Pacific, Pete has led 3 different businesses: Gillette Canada (2002-2005), Procter and Gamble Australia / New Zealand (2005-2011) and Fitness First Australia (2011-2017).

Paul Waldren

Dip BA

Along with Louise Mooney, Paul founded Loup in 2015.

Prior to this Paul was a senior executive for almost 20 years at the Nine Network holding positions as Managing Director and also National Sales Director, as well as some time at the Australian Football League as Head of Commercial Operations and Marketing. Paul has been involved in successfully launching 3 digital media businesses in the wellness sector in the past 10 years.
